The Monroe Thrift Shop, 119 S. Monroe St., Monroe, Mich., announces its sales for February will feature women’s blazers, suits and jackets. There will also be a buy one, get one free offer on women’s slacks and long-sleeved blouses.
The shop hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, except for Tuesdays when the shop closes at 1 p.m. The Monroe Thrift Shop Association is a volunteer group. All proceeds from the shop go back to the community through charitable donations.

Christmas sale at Monroe Thrift Shop
This post is for my readers in and near Monroe, Mich.
The Monroe Thrift Shop, 119 S. Monroe St., Monroe, Mich., announces it is hosting a half-off sale on all Christmas items and winter clothing for men, women and children from Monday Dec. 21 through Wednesday Dec. 23.
Household items, jewelry and books are excluded from the sale.
The shop will be closed for vacation starting Dec. 24 and will re-open on Jan. 4.
The shop’s regular hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, except for Tuesdays when the shop closes at 1 p.m. The thrift shop is run by a volunteer group with all proceeds going back to the community through charitable donations.
